TUESDAY THOUGHTS – 29 May 2018

Hey All

Today’s thought is inspired by Persian Poet, Saadi Shirazi. Saadi is widely recognized as one of the greatest poets of the classical literary tradition, earning him the nickname “Master of Speech”.

The pen in use is Ranga Model 4 which is inked with one of my favourite Indian Ink, Krishna Ghat Green

Below are few more images of the pen

TUESDAY THOUGHTS – 28 Feb 2017

Today’s thought is by Ovid. He was Roman Poet who lived in the period of Augustus and his actual name was Publius Ovidius Naso. He was ranked as one of the three canonical poets of Latin literature. Ovid talks more about his own life than most other Roman poets.

I really love ebonite as the material for the pen and this white blue swirl is something amazing. You have to hold in the hand to actually see and feel the beauty of the material.

TUESDAY THOUGHTS – 15 Feb 2017

Today’s weekly thought comes from my one of the favorite novelist, Ayn Rand. She was born and educated in Russia and moved to America later. Her two famous novels are The Fountainhead and Atlus Shrugged.

The pen in use today is Platinum Plaisir Nova Orange and I love this orange color. Lamy also came with the limited edition of AL-Star in this color by the name of Copper Orange.

The nib on this is 0.5 steel nib and it writes like a western medium. The ink in use is Platinum Black that came along with the pen.

What are your thoughts about Ayn Rand? And yeah how is the pen… I love the color. I think I love everything orange.

TUESDAY THOUGHTS – 03 January 2017

A Very Happy New Year to you all. Today I am using one of the most beautiful pens ever made “Lamy 2000” and it comes with BB nib. It is filled with GvFC Hazelnut Brown.

The quote of today is inspired by Henry David Thoreau who was an American philosopher, poet, and historian. Thoreau was an ardent and outspoken abolitionist, serving as a conductor on the underground railroad to help escaped slaves make their way to Canada.  He wrote strongly-worded attacks on the Fugitive Slave Law (“Slavery in Massachusetts”).

The pen writes sublimely and in my opinion, is one of the greatest pens of all time. Simple yet powerful design.

Once again happy new year to all.

Tuesday Thoughts – 18 October 2016

After a brief hiatus of an approx one month, I am back with Tuesday Thoughts.

And today’s thought comes from the pioneer of economics and political science in India, one of the most influential teachers of India, Chanakya. There is a Diplomatic enclave in Delhi which is named after Chanakya and is calledChanakyapuri and is one of the most prime and posh destinations of India. Chanakya was the teacher, philosopher, advisor to king Chandragupta and Bindusara. He played an important role in the expansion of Mauryan Empire in India.
