I would like to thank Dr. Sreekumar for sending me the samples and also for the effort that he has put in. I will be reviewing all one by one.

This review is about GOLD RUSH ink from KRISHNA. This is actually like yellow golden colour. And I do like it. It does amazing job in broad nibs.

There is no feathering of ink and it behaves quite well.

CONCLUSION:

I like the colour of the Ink. It can also be used as highlighter Ink. Performs best in Western Broad and Medium nibs along with the Calligraphy Nibs

The ink has amazing flow properties and is moderately lubricated.

Following are the summation of ink properties:

  • Feathering : No
  • Sheen : No
  • Shading : Low
  • Lubrication : Moderate
  • Flow : Good
  • Water Resistance : Bad
  • Drying Times : Acceptable
  • Nib Creep : None
  • Clogging : None
  • Odor : None

  1. i have been using krishna inks for a while now. almost every ink i used clogged at the cap bottle junction but something strange happened to dark chocolate ink. i left it for a month or so without using it in the bottle and now when i wanted ink a pen with this i was astonished to see that it has changed its colour from dark brown to light green like meadow green/alt gold grun. i still dn’t know why and how it happened, rest of the inks haven’t done anything like this. have you experienced anything like this with your ink samples?

  2. The pics in your review are much lighter than the swab on your Color Chart 1. Based on your actual review, I would not get this ink b/c it is too yellow/light, I think. Thanks!

  3. Another beautiful review with great clear pictures of a light colored ink, the green does seem to be a fresh shade of green which I like and would find ways to use it more often. Thanks for reviewing a wonderful ink.
